I HELP CLIENTS FIND HOPE THROUGH THE THERAPY PROCESS.

WHY I BECAME A THERAPIST

I’m passionate about helping others and supporting clients as they discover the power they have within themselves. It’s an honor to hear a client’s story and work with them to find inner peace, confidence in themselves, and a sense of balance in the world. Being able to find joy in your life is vital to making it through. Having someone to support you through anything, and help you to realize the strength you hold within yourself means so much.

I BECAME A THERAPIST TO HELP CLIENTS SHIFT THEIR PERSONAL NARRATIVE AND BUILD RESILIENCE.

I APPRECIATE EACH CLIENTS UNIQUE EXPERIENCE AND PROVIDE A SAFE AND NON-JUDGMENTAL SPACE FOR YOU TO TELL YOUR STORY. IN MY WORK WITH CLIENTS, I LIKE TO MERGE CREATIVITY WITH TRADITIONAL TALK THERAPY TO HELP CLIENTS ACCESS DIFFERENT PARTS OF THEMSELVES IN THEIR HEALING PROCESS.

I believe collaboration is an important part of the therapeutic process, but that you are the expert of your own life. In therapy, we will focus on your strengths and work together to formulate a plan to build resiliency and work through whatever challenges lead you to seek therapy.

When I work with clients, I incorporate THREE THINGS to create positive change:

strengths | lived experience | creativity

I go at your pace during session and believe therapy works best when you are open to and ready for change. Taking the leap to go into therapy can be daunting but I believe it is worth it. Healing is nonlinear but through therapy, we foster a community of support for you to navigate the ups and downs.

WHO I WORK WITH

I work with adults and teens who are dealing with anxiety, depression, grief & loss, chronic illness, or a significant life transition, as well as those healing from a trauma. I also work with couples and people in the LGBTQIA+ community.

My area of expertise is helping clients use creativity to change their sense of self and achieve their goals.

WHAT IF I DON'T WANT TO USE CREATIVITY IN THERAPY?

I work with my clients in the ways in which they feel most comfortable. If you want to focus on more traditional talk therapy, I will honor that and act as the container for you to share your story. I will occasionally ask if you would like to try a creative intervention if I think it would prove to be beneficial, but there is absolutely no pressure to do so. I follow your lead.
