WHY I BECAME A THERAPIST

We all face unexpected challenges and seasons of doubt—and it’s my honor to walk beside people through those experiences. I believe therapy should feel like a steady hand when life feels chaotic—a safe place to land, process, and grow.

I’m here to help you explore your emotions, uncover your strengths, and take steps toward the kind of life that feels authentic and grounded. You are the expert in your own story. My role is to support you with care, presence, and trust as we navigate that story together.

I BECAME A THERAPIST TO HELP PEOPLE REALIZE THEY ARE WORTHY OF A HAPPY AND FULFILLING LIFE.

PEOPLE COME TO THERAPY TO LEARN VALUABLE TOOLS, TO UNDERSTAND THEMSELVES AND TO WORK THROUGH THE DIFFICULTIES LIFE BRINGS. REACHING OUT FOR HELP CAN BE HARD, AND I COMMEND YOUR COURAGE TO START.

I believe that therapy takes time and that there is no pressure in one’s therapeutic journey. As your therapist, I will work to create a relationship that focuses on your goals and dreams. I will strive to build a strong connection of trust to help you to feel as comfortable as possible. I believe that you are the expert of your life, and I will be there to walk alongside you in this journey. Therapy can lead people to light and help people feel the happiness they deserve.

When I work with clients, I incorporate THREE THINGS to create positive change:

SAFETY | ATTUNEMENT | SELF-DISCOVERY

At the heart of my work is a commitment to creating a space where you feel emotionally safe, deeply understood, and encouraged to explore who you are without judgment. I believe healing starts when you feel truly seen—so I focus on building a relationship rooted in trust, compassion, and meaningful connection.

My approach is grounded in empathy, patience, and presence. Whether you’re working through anxiety, heartbreak, or uncertainty about your next chapter, I’ll help you tune into your emotions, discover your inner strengths, and take steps that feel aligned with your values and goals.

So—what would it feel like to show up for yourself fully, without apology?

WHO I WORK WITH

Life can feel heavy sometimes—especially when you’re trying to manage emotions, relationships, and expectations all at once. You might feel like you’re supposed to have things figured out, but inside, you’re overwhelmed, unsure, or just… stuck.

I specialize in working with teens, emerging adults, and adults navigating anxiety and depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief and loss, or identity-related questions. Many of my clients are moving through breakups, exploring their place in the world, or facing major decisions about school, work, or family.

I have a special passion for supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community and helping young people establish a strong sense of self in a world that often sends mixed messages about who they should be. Whether you’re in a season of uncertainty or seeking long-term growth, therapy can be a space to explore your emotions with honesty and care—without pressure to have all the answers.

WHAT IF THERAPY BECOMES TOO OVERWHELMING?

That’s okay. Therapy is a journey we’ll walk together, and you don’t have to carry everything at once. If things start to feel heavy or overwhelming, we can slow down and take the time you need. There’s no deadline for healing—no pressure to move faster than what feels right for you. I’ll be here to support you, every step of the way.
