THERAPY IS A COLLABORATIVE PROCESS THAT EMPOWERS PEOPLE TO BECOME THE PERSON THEY WANT TO BE.

WHY I BECAME A THERAPIST

Life can sometimes bring challenging moments, emotional discomfort, struggle and uncertainty. When we are overwhelmed or in the midst of a difficult life transition, it may feel like we will never get through it. Therapy can be a safe and transformational space where you can be your authentic self. It can also support you as you process your feelings, build valuable coping skills, and challenge yourself to grow.

I BECAME A THERAPIST TO HELP PEOPLE COPE WITH LIFE’S UPS AND DOWNS SO THEY CAN LIVE HAPPY AND FULFILLING LIVES.

I BELIEVE THERAPY IS Collaborative BETWEEN CLIENT AND THERAPIST, AND IT’S IMPORTANT FOR THE PROCESS TO BE GENUINE AND AUTHENTIC. I RECOGNIZE  THAT YOU ARE THE EXPERT OF YOUR OWN LIFE AND MY ROLE IS TO OFFER ADDITIONAL SUPPORT ALONG THE WAY.

When I work with clients, I use a strengths-based and integrative approach to meet your unique therapeutic needs. We focus on interpersonal relationships and how they are influenced by our thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I tailor my approach to each client so we can explore what works best for you and adjust as needed.

When I work with clients, I incorporate THREE THINGS to create positive change:

strengths | authenticity | support

When working with clients, I focus on using a strengths-based approach to help each person recognize their potential to take on the world around them. I also integrate empathy and compassion to help clients explore their past, change negative core beliefs, and remove barriers that hold them back from a fulfilling life.

WHO I WORK WITH

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions, and relationship challenges. I also enjoy working with couples to help them improve communication and build intimacy in their relationship.

My area of expertise is helping individuals and couples work through the barriers to happiness and fulfillment.

WHAT IF THERE ARE THINGS I'M NOT READY TO TALK ABOUT?

The great thing about the therapeutic process is that it is tailored to you. There are often things that are difficult to face or to discuss. They might bring up feelings of shame or fear. My role is to support you in your growth and healing process. We will go at your pace, developing coping skills, addressing less daunting concerns, and building a space in which you feel safe to talk about them.
