WHY I BECAME A THERAPIST

As human beings, we all stumble on times when life is difficult, and sometimes we can feel misunderstood and lost. I help clients find their path again, while offering support, encouragement, and trust in a safe, non-judgmental space.

 

I BECAME A THERAPIST TO HELP MY CLIENTS DISCOVER THEIR TRUE SELF AND EMBRACE THEIR SENSE OF BELONGING.

I WORK TO MEET MY CLIENTS WHERE THEY’RE AT AND BELIEVE THAT THERAPY SHOULD BE A COLLABORATIVE, SAFE AND TRANSFORMATIONAL SPACE. I HELP CLIENTS SET GOALS, EXPLORE THINGS THAT GET IN THEIR WAY, LEARN NEW WAYS TO COPE WITH STRESSORS.

I view therapy as a road trip where you, the client, are in the driver’s seat, and I’m the passenger helping you navigate. I offer guidance and support, but you ultimately control the direction and pace of your journey. My goal is to help you gain the confidence and tools to eventually navigate life’s roads on your own.

 

 

 

When I work with clients, I incorporate THREE THINGS to create positive change:

My goal is for you to walk away from therapy feeling hopeful, confident and curious about what your life can continue to become. I prioritize focusing on relief of symptoms, enhancing daily functioning, and improving your quality of life.
 
 

WHO I WORK WITH

I work with adults, teens and adolescents who may be experiencing a big or small life transitions, anxietydepressionPTSD, relationship challenges and ADHD.

I believe treatment and areas of focus are subjective to each client and my approach will be tailored specifically to your goals.

HOW CAN I MAKE THE MOST OF THIS EXPERIENCE?

If you go into therapy open-minded, you will grant yourself the opportunity for change. Therapy can be challenging at times, yet a rewarding experience if you allow it to be. Vulnerability and self-reflection are essential to this experience, but will be patient for you to get there for when you are ready. Although therapy is a large contributor to your healing and personal growth, it is also what you practice outside of therapy that makes the difference, which is ultimately decided by you!
