WHY I BECAME A THERAPIST

I have always been fascinated by the mind, brain, mental health, and human development. It is deeply rewarding to build meaningful, trusting relationships with my clients and to support them on their unique life journeys.

I BECAME A THERAPIST TO ALLEVIATE SUFFERING AND TO HELP PROMOTE GREATER RESILIENCY, SELF-KNOWLEDGE AND WELLNESS.

WHEN I WORK WITH CLIENTS, I UTILIZE A HOLISTIC APPROACH THAT EMPHASIZES THEIR STRENGTHS, RECOGNIZING THAT EACH INDIVIDUAL IS A UNIQUE COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCES, VALUES AND CAPABILITIES. I HELP CLIENTS BUILD CONFIDENCE AND RESILIENCE, EMPOWERING THEM TO OVERCOME CHALLENGES AND REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL.

I believe that our past experiences deeply shape who we are. When left unexamined, the past can continue to impact our present. By exploring it in therapy, we can break free from its hold and open up new possibilities for the future.

When I work with clients, I incorporate THREE THINGS to create positive change:

trust | authenticity | collaboration

I help clients gain a deeper understanding of their internal thought to pursue their life goals. Therapy is a space that allows individuals to acknowledge how thoughts and behaviors contribute to who they are today. I believe the therapeutic relationship between the client and the therapist is essential for the growing process, and provide a supportive environment for clients to develop the tools needed to cope with life stressors.

WHO I WORK WITH

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions. I specialize in working with adults who struggle with anxiety, OCD, substance use, chronic health issues, relationship difficulties, and career discernment.

My area of expertise is helping individuals heal from past traumas and remove barriers to happiness and fulfillment.

HOW LONG SHOULD I EXPECT TO BE IN THERAPY?

There is no specific timeline for therapy. At the beginning of therapy, we will collaborate on developing an individual treatment plan to address your specific goals and can set a tentative timeline for meeting those goals. However, your treatment plan and timeline can always be altered according to your individual needs as treatment progresses.
