WHY I BECAME A THERAPIST

I believe everyone deserves to be truly seen for who they are and heard for what they have to say. I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where clients can talk about anything without fear of judgment. Together, we’ll work toward removing the barriers that may hold you back from living your fullest, most meaningful life.

I BECAME A THERAPIST BECAUSE NOTHING BRINGS ME MORE JOY THAN SEEING PEOPLE THRIVE AS THEIR MOST AUTHENTIC SELVES.

WHEN I WORK WITH CLIENTS, I take a strengths-based approach that emphasizes YOUR abilities and potential rather than focusing solely on challenges.

Every client is different, but my goal for all of my sessions is to cultivate a supportive and empathetic environment- one where everyone feels seen and valued for all aspects of who they are. I strive to create an atmosphere rooted in empathy and sincerity where you can always feel supported and at ease. I believe this type of space is the best gateway to helping you develop greater self-compassion, stronger relationships, and more authentic ways of living.

When I work with clients, I incorporate THREE THINGS to create positive change:

EMPATHY | SINCERITY | GROUNDEDNESS

My therapeutic style focuses on empathy, warmth, and a calm, grounded presence. I listen deeply to your thoughts and focus on your strengths authentically. Through this approach, I often help clients shift patterns such as self-criticism, people-pleasing, and difficulty setting healthy boundaries. Many clients also break cycles of avoidance or disconnection from their emotions.

WHO I WORK WITH

I work with adults, teens, and children going through anything from anxiety & depression to issues of grief, trauma, body image issues/ eating disorders, and those who have dealt with sexual assault. I also specialize in social justice and working with those who are a part of the LGBTQ+ community.

My area of expertise is helping clients who are dealing with life transitions. This ranges from performance issues, quarter life crisis’s, and college/ grad school adjustments all the way to working with full families going through major life events.

HOW DO I KNOW I CAN TRUST YOU?

Opening up and sharing information with a new person may leave you feeling vulnerable and wary about the therapy process. I do my best to greet you with warmth and empathy, but I am also not here to judge you. I want to walk alongside you through this process and we will always go at the pace you are comfortable with. You will never be forced to speak about or do something that is out of your comfort zone.
