I FEEL THAT THERAPY SHOULD BE A COLLABORATIVE AND AUTHENTIC EXPERIENCE FOR EVERY CLIENT.

WHY I BECAME A THERAPIST

I’ve always been deeply observant and understanding of others. These qualities allow me to thoughtfully support clients as they navigate anxiety, grief, and life transitions. As a therapist, I combine these natural strengths with my training and experience to help clients create meaningful, sustainable change that feels authentic to who they are.

I BECAME A THERAPIST BECAUSE GUIDING OTHERS THROUGH DIFFICULT MOMENTS AND HELPING THEM MOVE TOWARD A MORE FULFILLING, GROUNDED LIFE IS DEEPLY MEANINGFUL TO ME.

WHEN WE WORK TOGETHER, I’LL TAKE A WHOLE PERSON APPROACH THAT HONORS YOUR STORY, YOUR STRENGTHS, AND THE MANY PARTS OF YOUR LIFE THAT SHAPE WHO YOU ARE. THIS MEANS WE WON’T JUST FOCUS ON WHAT FEELS HARD. WE’LL ALSO LOOK AT THE CONTEXT: YOUR RELATIONSHIPS, CULTURAL IDENTITY, VALUES, CAREER, AND LIVED EXPERIENCES. I DRAW FROM NARRATIVE THERAPY, EMOTIONALLY FOCUSED THERAPY (EFT), SOLUTIONS FOCUSED THERAPY, AND ACCEPTANCE AND COMMITMENT THERAPY (ACT) TO HELP YOU MAKE MEANINGFUL, LASTING CHANGE IN A WAY THAT FEELS GROUNDED AND EMPOWERING.

Every client is different, and by understanding the context of your life, I am better able to support you in finding strategies that feel meaningful and sustainable. Sharing your foundation allows our work to be tailored to you, rather than relying on a “one-size-fits-all” strategy. I also place a strong emphasis on identifying and reconnecting with your core values. When therapy is guided by what truly matters to you, it can become a powerful tool for creating change, supporting emotional healing, and helping you live in greater alignment with the life you want—whether you are seeking support for anxiety, relationship issues, or working through trauma.

When I work with clients, I incorporate THREE THINGS to create positive change:

WARMTH | AUTHENTICITY | CURIOSITY

My therapeutic style is non-judgmental and rooted in authenticity, warmth, and genuine curiosity about your lived experiences and long-term hopes. Clients often share that I bring a calming presence to the therapy space, occasionally incorporating light humor to help sessions feel more comfortable and open. Many individuals and couples come into therapy feeling uncertain or weighed down by self-doubt. I lead with compassion, meet clients as my full self, and offer honest feedback when it feels supportive to explore more objective or balanced ways of thinking. With this approach, clients feel safe to share their most genuine thoughts and emotions, knowing they have a steady, grounded source of support throughout the process.

WHO I WORK WITH

I work with teens and adults who are experiencing anxiety, grief, performance issues, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, and college or work-related stress. I also enjoy helping people navigate quarter-life crises, adjustment disorder, and major life transitions. Additionally, I have a particular interest in providing pre-marital counseling for couples, offering support to those in the LGBTQ+ community, and working with young women through topics like self-discovery and fertility.

My area of expertise is working with couples who are experiencing strain within their relationship.

WHAT IF I AM UNSURE THAT THERAPY IS RIGHT FOR ME?

This is a very common feeling. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’ve had previous experiences, starting therapy with someone new can feel nerve-wracking. It’s okay to feel uncertain, hesitant, or even scared. My role is to help you work through those feelings at your own pace and to create a space where you feel as comfortable and supported as possible. Even if you feel nervous and you carry those feelings with you when starting sessions, you still are strong enough to begin. And you do not have to face this process alone. We will keep working together as a team, moving at a pace that feels right for you with continuous encouragement as you head toward your goals.
