WHY I BECAME A THERAPIST

I understand how challenging and hard life can be at times. Life transitions and changes impact your feelings and your ability to cope. I believe everyone can find peace, joy and meaning in life despite these challenges. It is truly beautiful to witness clients build self-awareness and develop self-compassion as they mend aspects of themselves that they once thought were beyond repair.

I BECAME A THERAPIST TO HELP YOU BECOME THE BEST VERSION OF YOURSELF AND GAIN ACCESS TO TOOLS TO HELP YOU REACH YOUR GOALS.

BEING A THERAPIST IS MORE THAN JUST A JOB FOR ME. I VALUE THE THERAPEUTIC RELATIONSHIP AND WORK HARD TO BUILD A SENSE OF SAFETY AND TRUST WITH EACH CLIENT. I ALSO BELIEVE THAT THERAPY IS UNIQUE TO EVERY INDIVIDUAL AND TAILOR MY APPROACH BASED ON YOUR SPECIFIC GOALS.

I want therapy to be a safe space where clients can freely share their stories, process their trauma and wounds, and feel seen, heard, and nurtured. My aim as a therapist is to help you discover hope and significance in your experiences, and offer helpful tools to help you find healing and personal growth.

When I work with clients, I incorporate THREE THINGS to create positive change:

safety | authenticity | connection

When working with clients, I like to focus on anything that interferes with the your ability to build relationships, find enjoyment, and move toward your goals. Our minds are complex, but having someone to help guide you toward healing can help you to reach your fullest potential.

WHO I WORK WITH

I work with individuals facing challenges related to life transitions, including work stress, quarter-life crisis, trauma/PTSD, anxiety, and depression. I specialize in teens and emerging adults who are developing their sense of self and identity as they navigate exciting and overwhelming changes such as graduating, changing schools, adjusting to college, and starting or changing their career.

My area of expertise is helping teens and adults work through the barriers to happiness and fulfillment.

WHEN SHOULD I EXPECT TO SEE CHANGE?

There is no single timeline for change and growth is not a linear process. During your therapy journey, you might feel experience some setbacks, but it is all part of the process. Learning new skills in therapy can help you to build a life that brings you pride, contentment, and moments of joy.
