THE FIRST STEP TOWARD MEANINGFUL CHANGE IS LEARNING TO MEET YOURSELF WITH COMPASSION.

WHY I BECAME A THERAPIST

I have always been naturally curious about people and the experiences that shape who they are. I love getting to know my clients, hearing their stories, and understanding the different parts of their lives that have brought them to where they are today. I believe that no one should have to navigate life’s challenges alone, and I value being a meaningful part of my clients’ support systems as they work through difficult moments and recognize the progress they make along the way.

I BECAME A THERAPIST BECAUSE I WANT TO BE A MEANINGFUL PART OF MY CLIENTS’ SUPPORT SYSTEMS, HELPING THEM THROUGH THEIR CHALLENGES AND CELEBRATING THEIR SUCCESSES.

WHEN I WORK WITH CLIENTS, I FOCUS ON CREATING A COLLABORATIVE ENVIRONMENT WHERE WE CAN WORK TOGETHER TO FIND AN APPROACH THAT FITS YOUR INDIVIDUAL NEEDS. I PRACTICE CLIENT-CENTERED THERAPY AND BELIEVE YOU SHOULD FEEL COMFORTABLE PROGRESSING AT YOUR OWN PACE.

I take the time to understand you as a whole person, including how your environment and lived experiences have shaped who you are and how you move through the world. Together, we can explore the patterns that show up in your thoughts, relationships, and responses to stress while also recognizing the strengths you already bring with you. Rather than telling you what your path should look like, I want our work to help you identify changes that feel meaningful and aligned with your own goals and values.

Whether you are navigating anxiety, a major life transition, work stress, trauma, or questions around your self-worth, my hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can better understand yourself and feel more confident in handling what comes next.

When I work with clients, I incorporate THREE THINGS to create positive change:

CURIOSITY | OPENNESS | COLLABORATION

I approach our work with genuine curiosity and openness, creating a warm, welcoming space where you can feel heard without judgment. Clients often tell me they appreciate the insights I offer about their lives, and I use those insights to help us look more closely at patterns of stress, self-criticism, difficulty setting boundaries, or loneliness. At the same time, I believe you know yourself best. Therapy is something we build together, and I want you to feel comfortable sharing what is and isn’t working so we can find an approach that feels right for you.

WHAT IF I’M NOT SURE WHAT I NEED FROM THERAPY OR WHAT TO TALK ABOUT?

It is completely normal to feel unsure of where to start in therapy or what to expect. You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin, and you do not need to come into your first session with a clear set of goals. Many people start therapy simply knowing that something in their life does not feel the way they want it to. We can work together to understand what you need, build your goals along the way, and find a path forward that feels comfortable for you.
