GET TO KNOW YOUR THERAPIST
WHY I BECAME A THERAPIST
As human beings, we all stumble on times when life is difficult, and sometimes we can feel misunderstood and lost. I wanted to aid people in finding their path again, while offering support, encouragement, and trust in a safe, non-judgmental space.
I BECAME A THERAPIST TO SUPPORT PEOPLE AS THEY EXPLORE THEIR EMOTIONS AND SHIFT THEIR BEHAVIORS TO MAKE POSITIVE CHANGES FOR THEIR FUTURE!
I BELIEVE THERAPY IS A JOURNEY IN WHICH THE CONNECTION BETWEEN CLIENT AND THERAPIST IS ESSENTIAL IN ORDER CREATE A SAFE SPACE TO BEGIN GROWING.
Therapy is a place where clients can find support and reassurance as they explore what gives gives their life meaning and what might be holding them back from finding happiness and fulfillment at this time.
When I work with clients, I incorporate THREE THINGS to create positive change:
collaboration | trust | meaning
I approach therapy through an existential lens and strive to build a supportive and trusting therapeutic relationship. I encourage clients to develop an understanding of what matters most to them and work on developing helpful coping skills to be able to face life challenges.a Through the process, we also will work on finding acceptance and creating a balance amidst life stressors.
