WHY I BECAME A THERAPIST

Life doesn’t always go how we expected it to. Sometimes life is hard and we face challenges that require extra support. As a therapist, I partner with you in a safe, collaborative and trusting relationship to help you navigate these challenges and build effective coping skills to manage big emotions and triggering situation.

I BECAME A THERAPIST TO SUPPORT YOU THROUGH CONFUSING AND TUMULTUOUS TIMES.

I VIEW THERAPY AS A COLLABORATIVE OPPORTUNITY FOR CLIENTS TO OVERCOME BARRIERS THAT ARE HOLDING THEM BACK, WORK THROUGH PAST HARDSHIPS THAT MIGHT BE GETTING IN THE WAY, AND CO-CREATE A PLAN TO ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS TO LIVE THEIR BEST LIFE.

Everyone has the capacity to thrive, and therapy is a safe place to talk about your goals, explore what’s holding you back, and shine a spotlight on your strengths and talents. With authenticity, kindness, and warmth, I collaborate with clients to enhance personal growth and understanding. As we work together, we will discover self-awareness, communication, and ways to bring enthusiasm to life. I work with clients to deepen their self-discovery, cope with anxiety and depression, transition through life’s changes, and find communication skills and understanding in one’s relationships.

When I work with clients, I incorporate THREE THINGS to create positive change:

openness | collaboration | acceptance

When I meet with clients, I focus on current challenges and barriers to happiness. Barriers can be external, like romantic relationships or family dynamics. Or, they can be internal, like self-esteem, body image, or shame. When we work together, we will explore where these barriers come from and how you can break through them to create positive changes in your life.

WHO I WORK WITH

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life changes. I also work with couples who are looking to shift unhealthy relationship dynamics.

My area of expertise is helping people break through relationship barriers and find sexual healing and empowerment.

DO YOU HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS?

Navigating life is hard and our lives are filled with complexities that can make it more difficult to understand our needs and wants. My role as a therapist is to help you examine yourself and your life so that you will be able to find your own answers. It is okay to not have answers immediately. We will take the time we need to work in a way that works for you.
